Banquet Info
The banquet will be held on March 27th at the VFW in Waterville. Attached is a form for you to fill out and return to Candy Bishop.
We will be having the auction again this year and I would like to see all of District 01 members bring something that will sell really good so we can bring our treasury up again.
We will not be having a meeting at this years banquet.
Meeting Info
Our district will be having an annual meeting separate for the banquet starting this year.
The meeting is set for March 6th at Dan & Sharon Higgins?s home in Brunswick. The meeting will start at 10:00 AM
I would like to see all members attend so we can get our show dates picked and talk about the shows, sponsors, and anything else that the members would like to discuss.

Please send any information you would like your fellow members to know about to Sharon Higgins. Articles, pictures, jokes, brags, things for sale, items wanted, Internet sites of interest, wins at other shows you have attended, etc.
Advertising
Most local newspapers will advertise the NBHA schedule free of charge if they know we are non-profit. Please check with your local paper. This is a great way to spread the word about NBHA and maybe get some new members to join.
Fund Raising
County Supply?s program has been cancelled. Country Supply is now owned by Horse.com and they have chosen to delete this program. That is really too bad because we received 3 $50.00 checks from them just for purchasing their products. Thanks to all the members who made this happen.

Sponsors
Members: please remember that any sponsor money you can collect will be given right back to you through your shows. Headquarters in Georgia will match up to a certain amount for any sponsor money we collect. Therefore it makes the jackpot at the state championship show all that much bigger for any sponsor money we can collect.

Please remember that they are not supposed to do all the work. Their job is to help me with the details that need doing. They will each be assigned a couple of shows that they will be responsible for getting workers for.
If there is a ME01 member who would like to become a county rep for 2010 please call me at 443-1631.

Make sure and keep checking our web site. Please send Carolyn pictures, articles, or whatever about our NBHA barrel racing so she can keep our site updated. Maybe we could even get a members page like the MeBRA web site has.
IMPORTANT: Every member is required to get one sponsor or pay $20.00 in order to qualify for District awards.
